This collection focuses on the whole concept of body image, with particular focus on myself. I believe that there is too much emphasis on the way we look in contemporary society. I am focusing on my own body image to portray just how easy it is to stand in front of a mirror and criticise yourself. In turn, this questions the way we all perceive ourselves: is it really a healthy way of thinking? 
By portraying my work and thoughts through video and photography I am also aiming to challenge whether the negative relationships we have with our bodies stems from the way media is impressionist upon us all. This could be conscious, or subconscious, through the 'ideal' body image the media tells us is perfect on a day to day basis
